Georgia Reports 2 New COVID-19 Cases, 13 Recoveries

As of May 24, the number of coronavirus cases in Georgia has increased by 2, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 730.

One out of the two newly infected patients is from the village of Mushevani, Bolnisi Municipality, while another person is from a quarantine space. 

The number of recovered patients has increased by 13 to reach 522.

“We have 2 new cases and 13 recoveries. A total of 196 coronavirus patients are being treated at medical facilities at this stage,” Marina Ezugbaia, the Medical Director of the Tbilisi Infectious Diseases Hospital, told reporters on Sunday.
