Coronavirus: Georgia Reports 8 New Cases, 3 Recoveries

In the past 24 hours, 8 new cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Georgia, bringing the total number to 746. 

Marina Ezugbaia, the Medical Director of the Tbilisi Infectious Diseases Hospital, said that 6 out of 8 newly infected patients are from a quarantine space, while 2 patients are from the Bolnisi Municipality. 

3 more recoveries have been recorded, bringing the total number of recovered patients to 576.

3,076 people are under a 14-day mandatory quarantine and 250 - under observation in hospitals.

12 people have died of the virus in the country.

Currently, there are 158 active cases in Georgia.
