Currency Exchange Booths to Reopen on June 8
Vakhtang Grigalashvili, a member of the Association of Currency Exchange of Georgia, says that currency exchange booths will resume operation on June 8.
He claims that the National Bank of Georgia informed the Association about the above.
The press service of the government administration says that at this stage, currency exchange booths are not allowed to operate, however, the date when they will be able to continue their activities will be determined at the upcoming meeting of the Interagency Coordination Council working on coronavirus-related issues.
Currency exchange booths across the country have been closed since March 31.
The fourth phase of lifting economic restrictions envisages the re-opening of currency exchange booths across Georgia.
