US Gov’t Allocates Additional $1 mln to Support Georgia's COVID-19 Response

The US government has committed an additional $1 million in new USAID funding to support Georgia’s response to coronavirus.

The new assistance, delivered in partnership with UNICEF, will provide hygiene and medical supplies to health facilities, support rapid response teams, case management, and infection control. It will also strengthen public health communications.

To date, the US government has committed a total of $2.7 million to help Georgia tackle the COVID-19 pandemic.
