Which Restrictions Remain in Force in Georgia?

Despite the new stage of reopening the economy that was launched in Georgia today, certain COVID-19 restrictions still remain in force, in particular:

Operation of intercity transport was restored, however, railway transportation for passengers remains restricted and is expected to be restored from June 15;

Wearing a face mask in public transport and other enclosed areas is mandatory (in case of violation, individuals will be fined with GEL 50, while entities will be fined with GEL 500);

A taxi can carry a maximum of 2 passengers (however, it is forbidden to have a passenger next to the driver);

Organizing/holding sports, cultural and entertainment events is prohibited;

Sports and recreational procedures and activities remain restricted.
