Explosion in Batumi Fish Market
An explosion took place in the Fish Market in Georgia's seaside city of Batumi, the capital of the Adjara region.
No one was injured in the incident, as it occurred late at night when there were no people on the market territory.
The Emergency Management Service reports that the fire has already been liquidated by the three fire-fighting brigades mobilized on the scene.
Based on the preliminary version, the gas exploded in one of the cafes located on the territory of the market.
The causes of the fire will be examined by the investigation.
