Coronavirus: Georgia Reports 6 New Cases, 3 Recoveries

As of June 12, 6 new cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Georgia, bringing the total number to 837, stopcov.ge reports.

As for the recoveries, 3 more people have recovered from the virus, which brings the total number to 697. 

In total, 9 new cases have been confirmed in the past 24 hours. 

3 out of 9 newly infected patients are the medical staff of the Central Republican Hospital, 3 are from a quarantine space (imported cases), 2 people have been in contact with infected patients, while the source of infection in the case of one remaining patient is unknown at this stage. 

3213 people are under a 14-day mandatory quarantine while 303 are under observation in hospitals.

13 people have died of the virus in the country. 

Currently, there are 127 active cases in Georgia.
