14th Patient Dies of Coronavirus in Georgia

A 14th patient has died of coronavirus in Georgia. The deceased individual was a 68-year-old man being treated in the First University Clinic in Tbilisi. 

Director of the Clinic Levan Ratiani told reporters the patient had serious health problems and respiratory symptoms. The patient was transferred to the First University Clinic from the Sepsis Center.

"He received every type of treatment possible; however, the symptoms of his primary disease were aggravated. He had kidney failure and arterial hypertension. A study was conducted which showed that he had immunodeficiency and, unfortunately, biological death was confirmed", said Ratiani.

The deceased was an employee of the National Bank of Georgia.
