Coronavirus: Georgia Reports 3 New Cases, 11 Recoveries

As of June 20, 3 new cases of coronavirus were confirmed in Georgia, bringing the total number to 898. 

Marina Ezugbaia, the Medical Director of the Tbilisi Infectious Diseases Hospital, told reporters that 1 out of 3 new cases is a transit driver, while 2 people have been in contact with infected patients. 

11 more people have recovered from the virus, which brings the total number to 752.

2891 people are under a 14-day mandatory quarantine and 256 are under observation in hospitals.

14 people have died of the virus in the country. 

Currently, there are 132 active cases in Georgia.
