ADB Allocates €400 000 to Georgia to Purchase PCR Tests
The Asian Development Bank has allocated 400 thousand euros to Georgia with the goal to purchase PCR tests. This is stated in the information released by the Asian Development Bank.
"Grant allocated in the framework of ongoing technical assistance: regional support for the prevention of the spread of coronavirus disease and the cessation of possible spread of other transmittable diseases.
"Medical equipment and software and technical equipment will significantly increase the country's ability to quickly test for the virus, and will also significantly reduce the burden on medical staff at the Lugar Center (National Center for Disease Control and Public Health), where more than 70% of all PCR tests are performed,'' reads the information spread by ADB.
