Coronavirus: Georgia Reports 2 New Cases, 6 Recoveries

2 new cases of coronavirus were confirmed in Georgia during the last 24 hours, bringing the total number to 926.

Marina Ezugbaia, the Medical Director of the Tbilisi Infectious Diseases Hospital, told reporters on Monday that the two new cases are imported, and the infected patients are truck drivers. 

As for the recoveries, the number of recovered patients increased by 6, reaching 791.

2819 people are under a 14-day mandatory quarantine and 230 are under observation in hospitals.

15 people have died of the virus in the country. 

Currently, there are 120 active cases in Georgia.
