Coronavirus: Georgia Reports 4 New Cases, 13 Recoveries

4 new cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Georgia during the last 24 hours, bringing the total number to 999, a government-run special website stopcov.ge reports. 

Marina Ezugbaia, the Medical Director of the Tbilisi Infectious Diseases Hospital, stated on Tuesday that all the new cases are imported.

"All 4 newly infected patients are truck drivers," she said. 

The number of recoveries has increased by 13, reaching 870.

5001 people are in 14-day mandatory quarantine and 219 are under observation in hospitals.

15 people have died of the virus in the country.

31 citizens of Georgia have been brought to the country from abroad for treatment.

Currently, there are 114 active cases in Georgia.
