115 Active Cases of Coronavirus Recorded in Georgia
As of July 15, 4 new cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Georgia, bringing the total number to 1003, a government-run special website stopcov.ge reports.
"2 newly infected persons are truck drivers, 1 case has been detected in a quarantine space, while a source of infection is unknown in the case of the 4th patient," said Marina Ezugbaia, the Medical Director of the Tbilisi Infectious Diseases Hospital.
The number of recoveries has increased by 3, reaching 873.
5640 people are under a 14-day mandatory quarantine while 244are under observation in hospitals.
15 people have died of the virus in the country.
31 citizens of Georgia have been brought to the country from abroad for treatment.
Currently, there are 115 active cases in Georgia.
