Coronavirus: Georgia Reports 3 New Cases, 10 Recoveries

As of July 16, 3 new cases of coronavirus have been detected in Georgia, taking the total up to 1006. 

"1 newly infected patient is a truck driver, while a source of infection is being investigated in the rest 2 cases," stated Marina Ezugbaia, the Medical Director of the Tbilisi Infectious Diseases Hospital.

10 patients have recovered from the virus in the last 24 hours, increasing the total number of cured patients to 883.

5640 people are under a 14-day mandatory quarantine and 244 are under observation in hospitals.

15 people have died of the virus in the country.

31 citizens of Georgia have been brought to the country from abroad for treatment.

Currently, there are 108 active cases in Georgia.
