Facebook Page of the National Library Director Hacked

The official Facebook page of the director of the National Library, Giorgi Kekelidze, has been hacked, the press service of the National Library reports.

Almost the entire archive has been deleted from the page.

The National Library states that as seen by the administrator, the page has been deleted with a Russian account.

“Giorgi Kekelidze's Facebook page was one of the most popular pages in the Georgian social media space. It had hundreds of thousands of visitors and each post had at least a thousand likes,“ the National Library said.

"We will apply to the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Facebook administration in the nearest future," stated Giorgi Kekelidze.
