Quarantine Restrictions Imposed in Gardabani Municipality Village

Quarantine restrictions have been reimposed in the village of Karajalari, Gardabani Municipality. The relevant decision was made by the Interagency Coordination Council due to the increasing number of coronavirus cases on the ground.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs reports that police checkpoints have already been set up at the entrance and exit of the village.

"Checkpoints have been set up at the entrance and exit of the village, where the employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs will control the enforcement of quarantine restrictions within 24 hours," reads the statement.

The Mayor of Gardabani, Ramaz Budaghashvili, says that in the last 24 hours, 3 new cases of the coronavirus infection have been confirmed in the village of Karajalari, while 2 cases have been reported in the village of Birliki.

41 confirmed cases of coronavirus have been reported in Gardabani municipality so far.
