Russian Military Training Ongoing in Occupied Abkhazia

The personnel of the Russian military base located in occupied Abkhazia have begun training using a new modular combat training system called the Koleso.

Over 1500 soldiers are taking part in the training on the polygons of Tsebeldi and Nagvalou, using more than 200 combat technologies and arms, according to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

The ministry also informed the public that the new system entails practical exercises on the polygons, in the mountains, and on the Black Sea coast, as well as theoretical teaching of combat. The Russian Ministry of Defense says that at least 50% of the training process is performed at night.
