Lithuania Lifts Mandatory Quarantine on Arrival for Georgian Citizens

The Lithuanian Embassy in Tbilisi announced via a social media post that Georgian citizens and residents will no longer be required to undergo a mandatory 14-day quarantine upon arrival in Lithuania.

The decision to ease off quarantine measures belongs to Aurelijus Veryga, Lithuania’s Minister of Health and State Commander of National Emergency Operations. The decision could be revised if the pandemic worsens in Lithuania, the Lithuanian Embassy in Tbilisi added in its social media announcement.

The Lithuanian Embassy also began processing applications for travel visas to the country starting July 27.
