47% of All Imported Coronavirus Cases in Georgia Imported from Russia

The National Center for Disease Control and Public Health published a report on Tuesday according to which the largest number of COVID cases in Georgia had been imported from Russia as of July 11.

The report gives specific numbers: out of 980 coronavirus cases, 272 were imported, which makes up 27.7% of the total cases. 46.7% (127 cases) of these 272 cases came from Russia, 8.4% (23) came from Turkey, 8% (22) came from Azerbaijan and 7.7% (21) came from Armenia.

Currently, 1155 people have tested positive for COVID in Georgia. 17 have died and 929 have recovered.
