Coronavirus: Georgia Reports 6 New Cases

6 new cases of COVID-19 have been registered in Georgia during the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of cases to 1160, the government-run website stopcov.ge reports.

A total of 937 patients have recovered from coronavirus; 17 have died.

6489 persons are under a 14-day mandatory quarantine and 337 are under observation in hospitals.

Most of the newly registered cases are connected with the Gardabani municipality of eastern Georgia and the Lilo open market in Tbilisi. The Karajalari village of Gardabani municipality remains under lockdown; the government is carrying out monitoring of all open markets in Georgia to curb the spread of the virus.
