Elections are scheduled to be held in Georgia on 31 October 2020 to elect the 150 members of Parliament.
This year, parliamentary elections in the country will be held in rather a different format based on the new electoral law - under the context of a mixed electoral system (120 proportional, 30 majoritarian) and with a 1% threshold.
In addition, the party which receives less than 40.54% votes under the proportional system, will not be able to form an independent majoritarian government.
