Education Minister Expects Schooling to Start September 15 in Classrooms

The Minister of Education Mikheil Chkhenkeli has said he expects that given the current epidemiological situation, the school year in Georgia will be resumed on September 15 in a normal regime. 

In his words, the learning process in universities will also resume as usual.

"Given the current epidemiological situation, the school year in Georgia will be resumed on September 15 in classrooms in a normal regime. This applies to both schools and universities. However, we are ready for any scenario and the education system will adapt to the epidemiological situation that will be relevant at that time," said Chkhenkeli.
