11 Employees of MIA Test Positive for Coronavirus

11 employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia (MIA) have tested positive for coronavirus.

Among them, 7 work in the Main Division of the Border Management and Coordination under the Patrol Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, 3 more (firefighter, security policeman, border police officer) work in Mestia Municipality, and one employee contracted the virus in Tbilisi.

The condition of the infected employees is satisfactory.

"In coordination with the National Center for Disease Control and Public Health (NCDC), coronavirus testing is being carried out in various departments of the Ministry of Internal Affairs," the MIA has reported.
