Registration Instructions for GEL 200 Support Per Child to be Available on New Portal

Registration for one-time GEL 200 compensation per child will kick off starting August 15.

While registering, the parents of children under 18 should submit the following information:

  • Child’s name, surname, date of birth, ID number;
  • A parent / legal representative’s name, surname, ID number;
  • Bank details of a parent / legal representative;
  • Mobile number for SMS.

Registration instructions are available on the website of the Ministry of Health: www.moh.gov.ge and on the electronic portal daxmareba.moh.gov.ge, which will be launched on August 15.

Initially, it was announced that children under the age of 17 would receive compensation, however, later the Minister of Health Ekaterine Tikaradze specified that all children under 18 would benefit from the state support.

"The Ministry of Health is currently working on a website where it will be possible for our citizens to register from August 15. After registration, of course, we will provide feedback to each family, and after collecting detailed information, the parents will be credited with the mentioned amount during the period of September 1-15," she said.

The above initiative aims to help Georgian youth in the economic crisis caused by the coronavirus.
