Rescuers Recover a Body in Mtkvari River Near the Bauhaus Bar

Rescuers have recovered a body in the Mtkvari River adjacent to the Bauhaus Bar during a search operation.

The body will be transferred to the examination bureau for identification. Reportedly, the deceased is a young woman.

Relevant services of the Ministry of Internal Affairs are working on the spot.

It has not yet been confirmed whether the deceased person found is one of the missing employees of the bar.

For the record, police are searching for two employees of Bauhaus Bar in Tbilisi, Baia Beruashvili and Giorgi Shalamberidze, who left the bar on August 15 and have been missing since. The last place they were seen is Silver Street (Vertskhlis Kucha) near the House of Justice in Old Tbilisi.
