Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Offers Sympathy to Georgian People over Shatili Tragedy
Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov has expressed his condolences to the Georgian people over the tragedy on the Shatili Road.
"The information about the car accident on Shatili Road in Dusheti Municipality is very sad. We offer our condolences to the families of the victims of the accident and wish a speedy recovery to the injured. Our support and solidarity to our friends, Georgians!", he tweeted.
17 people died and 3 were seriously injured as a result of the tragic incident that took place on Sunday evening near Biso in the Dusheti Municipality.
In honor of the memory of those killed in the accident on Shatili Road, August 25 has been declared a day of mourning in Georgia by a government decree.
