18th Coronavirus-related Death Reported in Georgia

An 18th patient has died from coronavirus in Georgia, the government-run special website stopcov.ge reports. 

The patient was an 87-year-old woman who had serious chronic diseases and pneumonia along with coronavirus. She had been at Mtskheta Medical Center since July 29.

1421 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in the country so far, while 1137 people have recovered.

7005 people are in quarantine and 255 under supervision in hospitals.

18 people have died of the virus in the country. 

Currently, there are 266 active cases in Georgia.
