Israel Expresses Condolences to Families of Victims Killed in Shatili Road Accident
The Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs has expressed condolences over the tragic car accident on Shatili Road that claimed the lives of 17 people on August 23.
"Israel sends its condolences to the families of the victims killed in the tragic Shatili road accident in Georgia. We wish a speedy and full recovery to all of the injured," the Ministry wrote on Twitter.
17 people died and 3 were seriously injured as a result of the tragic incident that took place on Sunday evening near Biso in the Dusheti Municipality.
In honor of the memory of those killed in the accident on Shatili Road, August 25 has been declared a day of mourning in Georgia by a government decree.
