Gov't Announces 100 million GEL Grant Auction to Complete Unfinished Constructions

The government of Georgia has announced a 100 million GEL grant auction to complete unfinished constructions.

"In order not to hold back those Georgian families who had certain savings to improve their living conditions, we have started to subsidize the interest on mortgages, but this is not enough. Today, we are announcing a 100 million GEL auction to ensure that no construction remains unfinished. The unfinished constructions from 2008-2009 distort not only the capital but also many other cities, in addition to creating huge social problems for our citizens who have already made the first payment," Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia stated at today's government meeting.
