Another Employee in the GD Office Tests Positive for Coronavirus
Two employees in the head office of the ruling party Georgian Dream have tested positive for coronavirus so far, the party's press service has confirmed, adding that a total of 200 employees have been tested, some of them are in self-isolation, and some continue to work in accordance with the safety rules.
The first case of coronavirus was recorded in the office of the ‘Georgian Dream’ yesterday, on August 30.
All the activities defined by the epidemiological protocols were carried out in the office yesterday, including disinfection works and PCR testing.
In addition, yesterday it became known that a personal security guard of the Chairman of the Parliament Archil Talakvadze has tested positive for coronavirus.
In accordance with the security protocol, among other persons, the Speaker of the Parliament and his family members also underwent PCR testing.
"None of them has tested positive for the virus. Although the test results are negative, in accordance with epidemiological safety rules, Archil Talakvadze has moved to self-isolation," said the Press Service of the Parliament.
