Tbilisi Streets Occupied by Right-Hand Drive Protest

Today the streets of Tbilisi were busy as thousands of right-hand car drivers and dealers came together in the streets to protest the Government’s decision to ban the registration of such cars from next year.

The main motto of the campaign was “I’m not dangerous.”

The drivers protested against the government’s intention to ban the registration of right-hand drive vehicles.

They stated Japanese-made cars are secure and they do not create problems in terms of ecology.

The protesters gave three days to the government and Ministry of Internal Affairs to change their decision, otherwise they are threatening with large scale protests.
