Labor Inspection Service Closes 4 Night Clubs in Batumi

The Labor Inspection Service has temporarily closed 4 night clubs in Batumi.

Reportedly, the inspection revealed that four facilities: 'Soho," 'Sector 26', 'Conte' and 'UP2U' did not meet the requirements. Each facility was fined GEL 10,000. Under Georgian legislation, this type of sanction is imposed against a company for violating the safety rules established during the pandemic.

"Despite repeated verbal warnings by the Labor Inspectorate and the National Food Agency regarding compliance with the recommendations, the inspection again revealed critical violations.

"The Labor Inspectorate Service calls on the facilities to properly follow the recommendations approved by the Ministry of Health,” noted representatives of the Agency.
