Coronavirus: Georgia Reports 45 New Cases, a Record High Daily Number

45 new cases of coronavirus were confirmed in Georgia during the last 24 hours, bringing the total number to 1729, the National Center for Disease Control reports.

This is a record high daily number for the country. 

The number of recovered patients has increased by 6, reaching 1321.

5,882 people are in mandatory quarantine and 390 under medical observation.

A total of 19 patients have died of COVID-19 in the country since the outbreak.

41 people have been brought from abroad for medical treatment.

Currently, there are 363 active cases of coronavirus in Georgia.
