Georgia Reports 87 New COVID Cases


Georgia has reported 87 new cases of the coronavirus, bringing the country’s total tally to 1917. This is a record-high number of new COVID cases since the virus was first detected in the country back in February. 

Additionally, 20 more patients have recovered, and with that, the country’s total recoveries stand at 1354. 5882 citizens are currently quarantined, and 390 individuals are under medical supervision.

Georgia has had a total of 19 fatal COVID cases. 41 citizens have been brought back to the country for medical treatment. The updated information was posted on the government-run stopcov.ge.
