24 More Employees at Enguri HPP Test Positive for Coronavirus

A total of 28 employees at Enguri Hydro Power Plant have tested positive for COVID-19.

On September 10, it was announced that 4 employees at Enguri HPP had tested positive for coronavirus. Today, 24 more cases were confirmed.

The company’s statement reads: "There is no threat to the operation of Enguri HPP as a strategic facility. The infected employees were working online and they did not have contact with other employees. The facility continues to operate as usual”.
