Coronavirus: Of 170 New Cases, 124 Related to Adjara, 20 - to Tbilisi
Marina Ezugbaia, the Medical Director of the Tbilisi Infectious Diseases Hospital, told reporters that out of 170 new cases of coronavirus detected in Georgia on September 15, 124 are related to the Adjara region and 20 to Tbilisi.
"Based to the regions, 170 cases are distributed as follows: Adjara, Batumi 124, Tbilisi 20, Imereti, Kutaisi 13, Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti, Zugdidi 6, Guria, Ozurgeti 3, Mtskheta-Mtianeti, Mtskheta 3, Racha-Lechkhumi Kvemo Svaneti, Tsageri 1,” she said.
Ezugbaia added that currently 1154 patients are being treated in COVID centers.
As of September 15, 170 new cases of coronavirus have been detected in Georgia and the number of infected people reached 2562.
The number of recoveries has increased by 12, to reach 1381.
Currently, there are 1162 active cases in the country.
