Coronavirus: Georgia Records 196 New Cases, 31 Recoveries

As of September 16, 196 new cases of coronavirus have been detected in Georgia and the number of infected people reached 2758, a government-run special website stopcov.ge reports. 

Based on the same source, the number of recoveries has increased by 31, reaching 1412.

6633 citizens are in quarantine and 836 - under medical supervision.

Overall, coronavirus has claimed the lives of 19 patients in the country.

41 Georgian citizens have been transferred from abroad for treatment.

Currently, there are 1327 active cases in the country.
