20th Patient Dies of Coronavirus in Georgia

Coronavirus has claimed the life of the 20th patient in Georgia. 

Doctors claim that the 20th patient, who died of coronavirus at a Kutaisi clinic, had been transferred from occupied Abkhazia.

The deceased was a 60-year-old woman. 

"This patient was transferred from Abkhazia. Her condition was serious. As far as we know, coronavirus was confirmed on the territory of Abkhazia. We did our best, but we could not save her," said Gocha Giorgadze, Head of the Imereti Division of the Disease Control Service. 

The total number of infected people in the country stands at 3695.

193 new cases of COVID-19 were detected in the last 24 hours.

The number of recoveries increased by 40 and reached 1534.
