27 Children Infected with COVID-19 Being Treated in Kutaisi Hospital

Currently, 27 children infected with coronavirus are being treated in the Kutaisi Infectious Diseases Hospital.

A total of 61 patients are undergoing treatment in the Clinic. The condition of 2 patients is serious, and they are on artificial respiration.

Two patients infected with COVID-19 were admitted to the clinic yesterday. The representatives of the hospital note that both of them are contacts of confirmed patients.

Regarding the general coronavirus data, 259 new cases have been detected in Georgia in the last 24 hours and the number of infected people reached 4399.

The number of recoveries has increased by 62 and reached 1705.

At the moment, 5,390 people are in quarantine, 836 under medical examination in hospitals, and 640 in so-called Covid Hotels.

There are 18 patients in critical condition in the country.
