Of 298 New Coronavirus Cases, 175 Detected in Adjara
Marina Endeladze, representative of the Tbilisi Infectious Diseases Hospital, has clarified details of the sources of 298 new coronavirus cases detected in Georgia today.
She stated that of the 298 new cases, 175 were detected in the Adjara region.
At the same time, 32 new cases were reported in Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia.
Based on the regions, the new cases are distributed as follows:
Adjara 175;
Imereti 38;
Tbilisi 32;
Guria 16;
Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti 14;
Samtskhe-Javakheti 11;
Kvemo Kartli 7;
Kakheti 4.
As of September 28, 298 new cases of coronavirus have been detected in Georgia and the number of infected people reached 5552.
The number of recoveries has increased by 148 and reached 2054.
Three more coronavirus-related deaths have been recorded in the country in the last 24 hours, accordingly, a total of 31 people have died from the virus.
Currently, there are 3467 active cases in Georgia.
