Of 314 New Coronavirus Cases, 225 Confirmed in Adjara
Marina Endeladze, representative of the Tbilisi Infectious Diseases Hospital, has clarified details of the sources of 314 new coronavirus cases detected in Georgia today.
She stated that of the 314 new cases, 225 were detected in the Adjara region.
35 new cases were reported in Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia.
Based on the regions, the new cases are distributed as follows:
Adjara 225;
Imereti 22;
Tbilisi 35;
Guria 1;
Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti 18;
Samtskhe-Javakheti 3;
Kvemo Kartli 1;
Shida Kartli 9.
As of September 29, 314 new cases of coronavirus were detected in Georgia, bringing the total number of infected people to 5866.
The number of recovered patients increased by 270 and reached 2324.
A 33rd patient has died of coronavirus, in Adjara. The 55-year-old woman had cardiovascular disease.
Currently, 463 patients are being treated in Adjara clinics, of which 32 are children and 10 are pregnant women. At the same time, there are more than 900 infected in quarantine, of which about 60 are children. More than 600 patients are being treated at home.
