2 More Patients Die of COVID in Georgia

Georgia’s COVID death toll has reached 36. 4 of these patients died today, while 17 of total virus-related fatalities were registered in September.

The 36th, last patient to have died of COVID was a 79-year-old male with a critical health condition. He was being treated at the Batumi Republican Hospital.

To date, 5866 COVID cases have been confirmed in Georgia. 2324 of these patients have recovered.

In the last 24 hours, 270 patients recovered, and 314 COVID tests came back positive, the record-high number since the virus was first detected in Georgia, back in February.
