38th Patient Dies of Coronavirus in Georgia

Another patient has died of coronavirus in Georgia in the last 24 hours, bringing the death toll to 38.

This is the second coronavirus-related death reported in the country today. 

The deceased was being treated in the Batumi Republican Hospital.

The Ministry of Health of Adjara reports that a 61-year-old woman was admitted to the clinic last night, suffering from pneumonia, obesity and heart failure.

As of September 30, 326 new cases of coronavirus have been detected in Georgia, bringing the total number of infected people to 6192.

796 more patients have recovered from the virus, bringing the total number of recoveries to 3120.
