Minister of Economy: Anaklia Port Central Point of Discussion in China

The Minister of economy and Sustainable Development, Dmitri Kumsishvili, stated today that Anaklia Port will be one of the key topics of discussion during his visit to China.

The deadline for submitting proposals for Anaklia Port is December 14^th.

“December 14^th is a deadline for submitting the best proposals. I am leaving for China today to attend the economic commission session,” Kumsishvili stated.

He continued they would like the Chinese side to confirm its interest in regard to participation in the project.

Anaklia sea Port is supposed to be a central point for the East-West Corridor project, which marks Georgia as a regional economic hub between the west and east.
