TBC Art Gallery Hosts Exhibition of Gialia Monastery

Tbilisi is hosting an exhibition of Georgian paintings, inscriptions, artefacts, ceramics, metals, bone and glass materials discovered in Gialia monastery. The exhibition will be displayed at TBC Gallery.

The monastery complex is located in a forest in northwest Cyprus, dated between X and XVI centuries.

Some financial activities were held by the Reserve fund for archaeological works in 2015, initiated by Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili as well as some restoration works organized in the Ghalia Monastery complex with support from the Ministry of Culture and Monument Protection of Georgia.

The exhibition will last until December 25th.
