Coronavirus: Georgia Reports 549 New Cases, 268 Recoveries, 4 Deaths
As of October 6, 549 new cases of coronavirus have been detected in Georgia, bringing the total number of infected people to 9245.
Of the 549 newly detected cases, 348 were reported in Adjara and 99 in Tbilisi.
There are 55 critically ill patients infected with coronavirus in the country.

The number of recovered patients increased by 268 to reach 4887.
Coronavirus claimed the lives of four more patients in the last 24 hours, and the death toll has increased to 58.
Of 4 cases of death, 3 are linked to the Adjara region. The deceased patients had concomitant diseases along with COVID-19.
"Of the 4 new cases of death, 3 were reported in Adjara. One of them was a 68-year-old man who was admitted to the clinic in a serious condition. Another deceased was a 64-year-old woman with severe concomitant diseases. The third deceased was an 84-year-old man. All three cases were reported in Adjara. I do not have information about the fourth patient yet,” Marina Endeladze, Head of the Boxed Department of the Infectious Diseases Hospital, told reporters on Tuesday.
Currently, there are 4480 active cases of coronavirus in Georgia.
