Georgian Startups to Receive Social Impact Award 2020

On Wednesday, 7 October, at Fabrika Hotel, a prize-giving ceremony of the Georgian edition of Social Impact Award 2020 took place.

This global initiative promoting ingenious green and socially responsible businesses expanded into Georgia’s regions this year, giving young entrepreneurs a chance to win $2,000 and professional mentoring to implement their business ideas.

The contest for best youth ideas focused on innovative social entrepreneurship was organized by the Impact Hub Tbilisi with support from the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), the Bank of Georgia and the governments of Switzerland, Austria and Georgia. 

The award ceremony strictly followed the pandemic safety rules.
