Coronavirus: Georgia Reports 569 New Cases, 329 Recoveries, 9 Deaths

As of October 13, 569 new cases of coronavirus have been detected in Georgia, bringing the total number of infected people to 12,841. 

Of the new cases of coronavirus, 207 were recorded in Adjara, 168 in Tbilisi and 117 in Imereti.

Based on the regions, these new cases are distributed as follows:

Mtskheta-Mtianeti 5 

Kakheti 5 

Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti 24

50 patients are critically ill and on artificial respiration in the country, 7 of them having been transferred from the occupied territories of Abkhazia.

329 patients have recovered from coronavirus in the last 24 hours and the total number of recoveries reached 6867.

5590 citizens are in mandatory quarantine and 836 under examination in hospitals. 1393 people are placed in COVID hotels throughout the country. 

9 more patients have died from coronavirus in the last 24 hours in Georgia, and the death toll has increased to 102. Of the 9 deceased, 5 died in the Adjara region. 

Currently, there are 5872 active cases of coronavirus in Georgia.
