List of Airports from which Regular Flights will be Resumed Starting November 1

The Georgian Civil Aviation Agency (GCAA) has released the list of airports where restrictions on regular air movement will be lifted and direct flights will be resumed from November 1.

The Agency clarifies that the restriction will be lifted on direct regular flights that were carried out between Tbilisi International Airport and the airports of Doha, Warsaw, Athens, Amsterdam, Vienna, Berlin and Milan.

The restriction will be also lifted for regular flights implemented between Kutaisi international airport and the airports of Katowice, Vilnius and Dortmund.

"Detailed information on specific flight resumption dates, flight frequency and schedule will be known after completion of technical consultations with the relevant airlines and issuance of operation permits by the Civil Aviation Agency," reads the statement. 

Restrictions on regular international air traffic in other directions will continue until November 30, 2020. The relevant NOTAM (Notice to Airmen) has already been issued by the Civil Aviation Agency regarding these changes.

For the record, restriction on the implementation of regular international air traffic has already been lifted on direct international flights that are carried out between Tbilisi International Airport and the following airports: Munich (Germany); Paris (France) and Riga (Latvia), also between Kutaisi International Airport and Riga International Airport.
