Coronavirus: Georgia Reports 1351 New Cases, 337 Recoveries, 14 Deaths
As of October 21, 1351 new cases of coronavirus have been detected in Georgia, bringing the total number of infected people to 21,208.
Most of the new cases (445) were detected in Tbilisi, followed by Adjara with 369 infected, and Imereti with 295 infected.
Based on the regions, these new cases are distributed as follows:

- Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti 66
- Mtskheta-Mtianeti 23
- Shida Kartli 23
- Kakheti 20

The number of recovered patients increased by 337 and reached 9003.
14 more people died of the virus in the country, bringing the death toll to 172.
Amiran Gamkrelidze, Head of the National Center for Disease Control and Public Health, stated that one of the 14 people who died in the last 24 hours was under 30 years old.
"Unfortunately, we have deaths in Tbilisi, Kutaisi and Batumi. Most of the 14 deceased were elderly; however, one was under 30. Where exactly and why he died is not an open topic. The details can be found in our newsletter, which is published once every two months," he said.
Currently, there are 12,033 active cases in Georgia.
